Webdarkest dungeon 2 is more classic rougelite experience, you do a run, you win or fail and then redo, so losing and being set back isnt as crushing as in the first game, so its easier experience to chop away at, also i will say DD2 is like WAY prettier than 1 like the art clearly has evolved and grown so like you might not like to look at 1 ... But there are districts that will speed up the grind and districts that should increase the maximum power of my darkest dungeon team with character buffs. It’s an even gnarlier grind, but it may smooth out in the end with more knowledge and raw stats for the final stabs at the darkest dungeon.
