WebJun 15, 2024 · Sorry to take so long to come back, I finally sorted this out by shutting down my computer, then un-plugging the HDMI cable. Then I turned the computer back on and when the log in screen appeared plugged the HDMI cable back in, it was recognised straight away so I then logged in and shut the machine back down again.
