The stripped out 7mm hole is almost the same size as the drill in the 6 mm kit. It just kinda cleans the threads on out. then you just install a 6mm time sert.This process removes very little metal. It's a plug or cap that covers the rear end of the camshaft. An oring seals the plug. Today I removed the plug and replaced the oring. I found a good video of the procedure on youtube.
